Speaking and Community Education

Education that equips communities

I'm Robin Moseley, MSEd, LPC-Supervisor, a licensed counselor with nearly a decade of experience, based in Ozona, TX, and practicing via telehealth in Texas and New Mexico. I give psychoeducational talks for adult audiences: community groups, agencies, churches, and professional organizations across West Texas and beyond. Every talk is practical and grounded in clinical experience, so your audience leaves knowing what to look for and what to do.

Talk: Human Trafficking Awareness and Survivor-Centered Response

From 2018 to 2022 I worked at Voice of Hope, the Lubbock Rape Crisis Center, where I gave talks on the victimology of trafficked persons and best practices for responding to them. I also taught a class in jail for incarcerated women who were survivors of sexual violence.

This talk covers:

  • What human trafficking looks like in Texas, including along West Texas highway corridors

  • How traffickers recruit and control victims, and why victims often don't self-identify

  • Red flags for community members, healthcare workers, educators, and first responders

  • Trauma-informed, survivor-centered responses: what helps and what can cause harm

  • Local and state resources, and how to report

Audiences: civic groups, churches, healthcare and social service staff, school staff, and law enforcement.

Talk: Self-Care and Burnout Prevention for High-Performance Professions

Military members, police officers, Border Patrol agents, firefighters, EMS, dispatchers, and elite athletes are trained to push through. That strength can also hide burnout until it shows up in sleep, relationships, health, or performance.

This talk covers:

  • How chronic stress and cumulative trauma exposure affect the body and brain

  • Early warning signs of burnout and compassion fatigue

  • Practical tools from CBT, ACT, and mindfulness that work on and off shift

  • Building a culture where asking for help is a sign of strength

  • When and how to get confidential support

Audiences: agencies, departments, units, family support groups, and adult athletic programs.

Talk: Healing Generational Trauma: A Faith-Based Path for Women

This is a faith-based talk.

Many women carry patterns they didn't choose, passed down through families as silence, shame, fear, or survival habits. This talk offers a faith-based framework for recognizing those patterns and beginning to heal them.

This talk covers:

  • What generational trauma is and how it shows up in relationships, parenting, and self-worth

  • How faith and community can support healing

  • Simple, research-informed practices for calming the nervous system

  • Breaking the cycle: setting boundaries and building new patterns for the next generation

  • When to seek counseling, and what it can offer

Audiences: women's ministries, churches, retreats, and community women's groups.

Formats and booking

  • Formats: keynote (45–60 min), workshop (90 min to half day), or a small-group session with Q&A
