Clinical Supervision for Texas LPC Associates

Now accepting LPC Associates

Finding the right supervisor shapes the kind of counselor you become. You deserve a supervisor who is steady, available, and invested in your growth, not just someone who signs off on hours.

I'm Robin Moseley, MSEd, LPC-Supervisor, with nearly a decade of experience, and I'm accepting LPC Associates for clinical supervision. I'm based in Ozona, TX, and practice via telehealth in Texas and New Mexico. I offer supervision by secure video, so Associates across Texas, including those in rural areas with few local supervisors, can get consistent support.

How supervision works

  • Weekly 1-hour sessions. We meet for one hour every week. That meets the Texas requirement of at least 4 hours of supervision per month while you're counseling.

  • By secure video (SimplePractice) anywhere in Texas.

  • In person in Ozona. If you live or work in Crockett County, Texas, in-person supervision at my Ozona office is also available.

  • Individual supervision is available now.

  • Availability: Supervision is available Mon–Thu, 7:45 am–1 pm Central.

  • Group supervision will be offered when a group forms. The schedule will be posted here.

Fees

  • Individual supervision: $90 per hour

  • Group supervision: $75 per hour (when a group forms)

Supervision is billed monthly unless we agree on another arrangement.

What we cover

  • Case consultation. Real cases, conceptualization, and treatment planning.

  • Ethics and Texas rules. We review the Licensed Professional Counselor Act and Council rules together, as Texas requires.

  • Documentation. Clear, defensible notes and treatment plans.

  • Skill building. CBT, ACT, REBT, mindfulness-based interventions, and trauma-informed care.

  • Professional development. Boundaries, telehealth, rural practice, and preventing burnout early in your career.

  • Records. I keep the written record of each supervision session that Texas requires. When supervision ends, or when you finish your required hours, I submit documentation of your supervised experience to the Council within 30 days.

Why the right fit matters

The Associate years are where habits form: how you document, how you handle a crisis call, how you protect your own energy. A good supervisor makes room for hard questions without judgment and gives direct, useful feedback. My clinical background includes trauma work with survivors of sexual violence at Voice of Hope, the Lubbock Rape Crisis Center (2018–2022). I bring that experience and a steady, collaborative style to supervision.

Clinical focus areas

  • Trauma-informed practice (I'm trained in EMDR and TBRI)

  • Work with athletes and high performers

  • Burnout, stress, and high-pressure professions

  • Rural and telehealth practice in West Texas
